Religious Tours

Crete, like most of Greece, has years and years of religious history.

Most large and small monasteries around Crete had many roles. Apart from serving religious needs, they played an important role during the struggles of the Cretans for the liberation from the Ottomans. Monasteries were the only places Christians could find shelter and organize their army with the help of the monks.

That is why the Ottomans destroyed several monasteries that functioned as revolution centers. All the monasteries have a similar story to tell...

Nowadays most of the monasteries are open for visits, while monks are always hospitable and eager to tell the story of their monastery, as well as their way of life, which is based on the deep prayer and cultivation of the land thet generously provides them with goods for their living.

Visit Agia Triada (Tzagarolo Monastery) at Chania, Chrisoskalitissa Monastery (West Crete), Agios Georgios at Karidi (Apokoronas) at Chania and Arkadi Monastery at Rethymnon!

WAV Services

We are proud to be able to assist visitors with disabilities. Our WAV is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities so to ensure that getting around is simple and comfortable, while you enjoy your holidays. Moreover, the vehicle is driven by professionaly licensed drivers. We provide daily accessible tours to archaeological sites, museums, monasteries, city rolling, and accessible beaches.

It's the responsibility of the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle owner and the driver to ensure that:

-each vehicle is equipped with the necessary systems to safely secure each wheelchair and its occupant

-has functioning air conditioner/heater and

-all of the equipment is maintained in good working order.
