Samaria Gorge

The most famous of all Crete gorges! (medium difficulty)

The longest gorge of Crete  and Europe! Its length is 18km and the width from 150m to 3m at the narrowest point (well known as "doors"). The entire trail is very well marked and is the most walked path in Greece. The path begins from Omalos mountain, at Xyloskalo point at an altitude of 1.200m. The end of the route is at the level of the sea at Agia Roumeli village! 

Imbros Gorge

The gorge starts from a small plateau of the village Imbros and ends at the village Komitades, offering magnificent landscape and wonderful views of the Libyan sea (South Crete sea) that will enchant you!

It si very close to the Frangokastelo fortress and Sfakia fishing village. Because there is no difficulty, we recommend a combined visit to these beautiful destinations as well.
